Sales Representative

We are seeking a full-time salesperson that is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and has an outgoing personality to handle both inside and outside sales for existing accounts and potential customers. Carolina Equipment and Hauling has been a providing a full range of equipment and transportation services to customers along the east coast.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with new customers and existing accounts by attending frequent meetings, project site visits, office visits, and maintaining regular phone and email contact

  • Frequently check in and follow up with new and established customers about potential jobs and upcoming projects

  • Attend to customers’ needs by visiting project sites, promptly scheduling jobs, and providing quotes in a timely and accurate manner

  • Develop quotes for existing and future projects utilizing project plan documents such as blueprints, manuals, and project schedules

  • Provide customers with lift plans for specific projects using PDF editing software and a lift plan template

  • Provide outstanding service to current accounts while developing and pursuing new account leads

  • Maintain meticulous records and notes related current and future projects

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprint plans

  • Knowledge of heavy equipment hauling

  • Experience using CRM & PDF editing software

  • General familiarity with the construction industry and heavy equipment

  • Experience using Microsoft Office in a work environment

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
